The “Nothing Happened” scene is widely considered one of the most iconic and defining moments for Roronoa Zoro in One Piece. After the Straw Hat Pirates defeat Gecko Moria, they are confronted by another Warlord, Bartholomew Kuma, who intends to take Luffy’s head. Zoro, already exhausted and heavily injured, offers his own life in exchange for his captain’s. Kuma accepts a bargain: he uses his Paw-Paw Fruit powers to extract all the accumulated pain and fatigue from Luffy’s body into a massive “pain bubble”. Zoro must absorb this entire mass to save his crew.
