Flareon is the Fire-type evolution of Eevee, first introduced in Generation I. Known as the Flame Pokémon, it is often noted for its extreme internal heat and fluffy, functional fur. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Flareon is the only Eeveelution that cannot swim in the overworld. If you send it out over water, it appears on a small wooden floating platform rather than treading water like its siblings. In some fan-made content and deep community lore, Flareon is often characterized as the “Snobby Older Sister” of the Eeveelutions due to its regal appearance and refined personality.
